You have been disconnected from the login server.

Well, After logging in and selected the channel..
And then my character will appear.. (New Character since i never played before..)
After selecting my character, The game closes and says..
"You have been disconnected from the login server. Please try again later"
I was never able to play it because of this problem..
Help!?
Already tried reinstalling MapleStory v62..
Already tried recreating my character..

Wrong section , should be in Technical problem .

And , I have that problem too . I did everything which is needed

How do i do "port forward"

Disabling your firewall doesn't do anything at all. Firewall is annoying and doesn't protect you at all. All it does it block ports from accessing your computer, that can't harm you. Because if a Virus got into your computer, your firewall won't block it. It will allow the port through but not back. Simply, Firewall fails, Antivirus ftw.

2. I Used to play private v62 servers but hated it since the server i played sucked,has nothing at all and was unstable..
3. Well, The only character i have now (which i can't play, level 1) is "AsuraCryin"

Are you using the v62 from will-ms.com? Or the old ones you had since you've already played private servers?
If you're using the one we have on the WillMS website, try opening up Setup.

There could be files there that make you in the situation you are right now. But I'm no techy pro. To be on the safe side, can you download the v62 from the WillMS website? There's also a v62 link on the forum in Guides if you don't want to go on the website.

Well, I will uninstall and reinstall (What the hell!? for the forth time..)
Downloading with 100 kb/s and by the time i uninstall and reinstall (include downloading time) will be tomorrow morning.. i guess i go play some games first..

What is port fowarding?
Port forwarding, sometimes referred to as port mapping, is the act of forwarding a network port from one network node to another. This technique can allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from the outside via a NAT-enabled router.

Basically, allows the server to connect to you.

Like the poster above said, it could that your firewall (virus-program) blocks WillMS.

Well, here's a summary..
Around two months ago..
My friend was playing this server and suggested me to play (we played together in other servers) this server..
I had trouble making a account so i gave up, i can't get into the register..
A few weeks later i tried again and manage to work it.
I finished downloading it and started playing and had the SAME problem..
My friend suggested me to log in and character fix.. I had problem loggin in..
(i was stuck in the page where after you log in and it redirect you but i didn't)..
but after soon i manage to get it to work and tried fixing it (using the website) but failed.. the problem is still working.. It's still not working.. so i gave up..
then my friend suggested me to try again.. and here i am yet again trying to get it to work.. but in the forums...

Oh, my IGN AsuraCryin is not use-able since after deleting my older account the character is stuck i guess..

Maybe it is that some1 else played WillMS on that PC or a other PC in your house and got banned. :]

Maybe i should delete everything, characters (asuracryin and asuramachina) and my account expect this forums account and clear my registry..
But i don't think i can reformat my computer..

I tried !unban which helps with the mac with both his character names he provided but it didn't seem to work.

Everyone had this issue. Including myself, seems it didn't solve itself for you.

Solutions
-If you have an AntiVirus, open it, and allow WillMS.exe through its firewall, quarantine or just turn it off.
-Port fowarding.
Manually Google Your router's Model Name + Port Fowarding.
E.G My router would be DSL - N13 ASUS, so I would type in Google " DSL N13 Port Fowarding Tutorial ". After you've learnt how, then port foward ports 8000 to 8110.

all i know is that newer people seem to have more problems than people who've played for a while. id say a bugged ring but you havent even played before so thats out. when you click does your character just sit there?

i had uploaded a video above.. after selecting my characters, it just disconnects

Well, it can't be a router, because Motorola SB5101 is a modem not a Modem/Router. Can't be a blocking connection then.

Must have something to do with your client

I downloaded both from the web not long ago (4 days ago?)

I might have a solution.
Global is blocking out private server lines to their clients.
Could you open your hosts file with a txt and put on here.
